Life Purpose Questionnaire

Life Purpose Indicators

Your Ascendant / Rising sign / First House Cusp

Your Ascendant is extremely important in astrology, as it tells us a lot about your personality and life path. As well as the characteristics of the sign on the cusp of the first house, it is important to look at the planet that rules that sign. This planet is called Chart Ruler and whatever happens to it - whether in your natal chart or during transits - is mirrored in your life.

Please not that classical astrology assigns Mars, Saturn and Jupiter as rulers for Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces, respectively. Modern astrology on the other hand prefers Pluto, Uranus and Neptune for the same.

Your MC / Midheaven / Tenth House Cusp

Your Midheaven is another extremely important part of your natal chart. It talks about your career, reputation, status, visibility and vocation in life. As well as the characteristics of the sign on the cusp of the tenth house, it is important to look at the planet that rules that sign. This planet is called Midheaven Ruler and whatever happens to it - whether in your natal chart or during transits - is mirrored in your career/vocation/reputation.

Please not that classical astrology assigns Mars, Saturn and Jupiter as rulers for Scorpio, Aquarius and Pisces, respectively. Modern astrology on the other hand prefers Pluto, Uranus and Neptune for the same.

Your Sun by sign and house

The Sun is a natural indicator of vocation in life.

Your Moon by sign and house

The Moon tells us a lot about your emotional needs and daily habits.

Your NORTH Node by sign and house

The Nodes in astrology are important indicators of destiny (dharma) and what innate skills and talents we possess. Please note that we need information about the NORTH Node, not its opposite.

House Emphasis

3 or more planets in a house (called a 'stellium') indicate an area of great focus in your life. This house therefore is an important stage on which your life and life purpose unfold.

Angular Planets

The Angles (Ascendant, Descendant, IC and MC) in your chart are like live wires - they buzz and come alive whenever a planet gets close. These planets in turn take on huge significance in your life, and always manifest powerfully and call the shots in the area of life represented by the particular angle they are near. Angles are the cusps of houses 1, 4, 7 and 10.
