The Google Eclipse Megamovie

Google has collated eclipse photos taken by over a thousand volunteers across the US during the August 21st celestial event.

Using algorithms based on the time and location of the capture, the photos have been stitched together to provide a continuous view of the Sun’s atmosphere as the eclipse crossed the fourteen states, with geolocation displayed an on-screen map in the corner.

The result is the beautiful Google Eclipse Megavideo, which you can watch below.
